About Us
The CliniLaunch Journey & Leadership
CliniLaunch began in 2019 with a simple intention, to help learners find meaningful careers in clinical research. What started as a small reference batch of just six students quickly became a turning point. CliniLaunch was successful in placing the first batch of students in top companies and, as a training firm, it became our first validation. The institute had 16 referrals in the second batch and 36 students in the batch that followed, all driven purely by word of mouth.
With each new batch trained and placed, we began to see that our work extended far beyond placements, we were shaping careers of individuals and contributing in our own humble way to India’s growing role in the global healthcare ecosystem.
CliniLaunch Research Institute has successfully trained more than 20,000 students from more than 10 countries to date. Our students are working in distinctive roles in some of the world-renowned healthcare companies.
Our Vision
To redefine healthcare education by bridging the gap between learning and practice, and to be recognized worldwide as the trusted partner for building tomorrow's healthcare workforce.
Our Mission
Our mission is to equip healthcare and life science aspirants across the world with skills, practical knowledge, and the mindset required to excel in a global workforce.
Dr. Karuna Mutalik
MBBS, M.Pharm (Pharmacology), and PhD
Dr. Karuna Mutalik, MBBS, M.Pharm (Pharmacology), and PhD in Metastasis & Lung Cancer, brings over 13 years of experience across healthcare, research, and corporate environments. During her tenure, she observed a consistent gap between what life-science graduates were taught and what the industry expected. Many students were unaware of the diverse career opportunities beyond traditional pharmacy paths, and even those entering the workforce lacked the foundational skills required to contribute confidently and effectively.
Driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to bridging this gap, she began upskilling small batches of students — personally training and placing many of them. Her belief is simple yet powerful: careers shape confidence, purpose, and stability, and every learner deserves clarity on their path. She advocates for one-on-one attention, role-based career mapping, and individualized guidance, recognizing that each student brings unique strengths. Under her leadership, CliniLaunch has grown while staying rooted in the principles she began with — strong fundamentals, personalized mentorship, and a mission to elevate talent for meaningful careers in healthcare and life sciences.

The Challenge of Skill and Will in the Healthcare Sector
Despite the vast opportunities in clinical research, lakhs of students remain unaware of its scope, and even those who enter the field often lack clarity about their role and impact. This results in weak engagement, low confidence, high attrition, and gaps in quality and compliance, which are vital in this sector.
While technical gaps can be addressed, the real gap is mindset. CliniLaunch was created to build the will first, purpose, ownership, and domain understanding, before strengthening the skill through industry-simulated training.
